Getting out into the North West's natural landscape was such a treat on this project. We were asked to undertake customer engagement exercises on site at RSPB Old Moor as part of an Action Plan which formed a key aspect of a Heritage Lottery Fund (HLF) application. Our engagement games were fun and broke the "clipboard" mould by getting people laughing and chatting about the positive visions they had for this corner of the countryside. Using postcards, string mapping mapping and voting we developed a clear understanding of what was important to users and how these funds could be used to provide a wider range of activities to benefit the wider community.
